In my classroom I would like to have a reading corner or section for students to read their books comfortably like they would at home when they get done with all of their work. I would make sure to tell them this is a quite corner and only readers are aloud. In the corner I would include rocking chairs for older classrooms and bean bags for younger classrooms.

In this fourth grade classroom design I like how there is still a circle rug to gather at, and a kidney table for teacher to have small group time. I have noticed in my placement upper grade classrooms don't include this and I would like to even if I had an upper grade classroom.

Classroom libraries are important for every teacher to have, no matter what subject the teacher teaches to her students.
The florescent lights in a classroom can effect the students in a negative way and make them tired. Turn these lights off and get lamps to place around the classroom to create a relaxed environment. Also great for classrooms that use the smart board a lot in their lessons.
